GLOBALST 702: Urgent Global Issues is a graduate seminar course welcome to all that explores a range of global issues urgent for our future and collective well-being.
The course offers an interdisciplinary approach, with Social Sciences and Humanities experts providing lectures and facilitating discussion based on weekly readings. The course emphasizes active participation, in-person discussion, and fostering a comprehensive understanding of interconnected global issues.
Each class will start with a one-hour lecture by the instructor(s) on the seminar topic followed by in-depth discussion of the required weekly readings. In-person participation and discussion is required.
