Program Requirements

• GLOBALZN 3A03 is strongly recommended to all students interested in pursuing a Minor in Globalization Studies.
• Students who began studies prior to September 2018 may still choose to complete the Minor under previous guidelines.

Requirements

• 24 units total (of which no more than 6 units may be from Level 1 courses)
• 3 units from GLOBALZN 1A03 – Global Citizenship
• 21 units from Course Lists 1, 2, 3 and 4 (refer to the complete lists in the Academic Calendar). At least 9 of these units must be selected from outside the student’s own program.

The Academic Advising office is run through the Office of the Associate Dean. The primary goal of the Advising Office is to provide all Social Sciences undergraduate students with the information and guidance they need to succeed in their academic careers.

Advisors can help you make the right academic decisions by explaining policies and regulations as well as presenting different options and supports available in your studies.

An academic advisor can assist you with:

• Course requirements, dropping and adding courses
• Program selection, application and changes
• Studying abroad
• Transfer credits
• Petitions for missed term work, deferred examinations and special consideration
• Appeals procedures
• Referral to other campus services
